Title: Game crashes computer when playing fullscreen in Windows 7 [SOLVED] Post by: rpglover64 on January 04, 2011, 06:42:02 am I installed the game through Steam.
I am running Windows 7 64-bit on a 17" Macbook Pro with 4 GB of ram and an NVIDIA Geforce GT 330M. This game has crashed for me when I was playing it fullscreen before I got to the third game screen four times (once without hardware acceleration). I managed to play a youtube video fullscreen without my computer crashing, but the video may have been to short. When the crash occurs, the screen goes black and a section of music loops., Alt-Tab doesn't work, Ctrl-Alt-Del doesn't work, a hard power-off is required. Playing without fullscreen seems to avoid the crash, but I'd prefer not to have to. Does anyone have any idea what I should look into to avoid the crash but continue playing fullscreen? Flash, Windows, GJ both of you. I fixed the problem by installing updated video drivers (which I didn't know existed because boot camp...) |
