Will we ever get a chance to see the movie out of Czech Republic (with subtitles maybe)?
I really wish I could.

Check this URL: http://www.kukysevraci.cz/

Now check this one: http://www.kukysevraci.cz/en
Looks promising...

On this site "A guy from the Czech Republic" wrote the following about the voiceover during the Kuky se vrací trailer:

"Voiceover during regular trailers is not common in the Czech Republic, but there is one here because of two things:
1. It's a film for children and they enjoy narration
2. The voiceover is done by Zdeněk Svěrák (the director's father), who used to work on a TV program for children, and has a great narrating voice

And by the way, the subtitles are just a basic translation, the Czech original is much more poetic, hence even more enjoyable."

People in lab coats will always look suspicious, even if they are holding puppets.

Two weeks ago I made a short trip to the czech republic with my grandparents. They wanted to show me where they once lived (near Liberec) before they had to leave the country after WWII. We've also visited Prague and there where large Kuky advertising posters all over the place.  Smiley I really had to see the movie but unfortunately we didn't had enough time and my grandparents where more interested in visiting old buildings than watching a movie about a teddy bear.  Grin So I've decided to come back just to see the movie. We drove back to Germany and two days later I came back to Liberec (all in all an 8 hours trip) to see the movie. I didn't understand a single word but still it wasn't a problem to follow the story. My rating? Absolutely brilliant! This movie is a real masterpiece. The puppets design is awesome (especially Hergot and Nightshade) and so are the animations. I do hope they will release it in other countrys too because I want to see it again. At least put some subtitles on the DVD release.

One more thing: where can I get the soundtrack??? At the official website kukysevraci.cz theres a link to this shop: http://obchod.sverak.cz/shop.php but they only ship to Czech republic and Slovakia. At the officail englisch website: http://www.kukysevraci.cz/en/index.html therse only the Info: "Kooky's shop: The soundtrack, T-shirts and books about Kooky's adventures will be coming soon.". Coming soon....  Sad  When I was in the czech republic I spend half a day to find the soundtrack CD but it was really strange. They have lots of big electronic stores where you can buy everything: games, DVDs, computers, TVs and so on...but no music. Allways the same wherever I looked.

So could someone from the czech republic here please tell me where I could buy this soundtrack CD?

How did I miss all this! So it's never going to come to theaters outside of Czech republic?
Well, I'm most eager to enjoy it for myself in November Smiley

Nice book. Additional theres a lot of new cool stuff in the official Kuky Store: posters, art prints, Kapitan von Hergot figure....but still they won't ship outside czech republic and theres no life sign of the english web store.  Cry  Is there really no way to get my hands on this wonderful soundtrack?
