How to get the Distilled Spirit achievement

Hi, all!

Just a brief question for this awesome game's endgame.

I tried to get the Distilled Spirit achievement, but unfortunately, I realized how to get it later on. Now I am already on the other shore of the lake and there is no monk anymore to ferry me to the other side to reach the building on the top of the rock. Since I have already got all the missing achievements with this save, it would be painful to start again from where I was before descending after the ending sequence.

Do you know if there is some way to pass on the other shore after the endgame?

On the screen where the three monks were first encountered, there is a path through the forest that winds around the mountain to the front entrance of the monks' quarters.
