Im running sabayon(gentoo) 64bit, visual is good but i get this error and no sound

to note also flash works fine in firefox

ALSA lib conf.c:2700:(snd_config_hooks_call) Cannot open shared library /usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_conf_pulse.so
ALSA lib pcm.c:2211:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM default

I have the same problem: no sound (visuals are fine). Again, I'm running 64-bit linux and would rather use a 64-bit binary.

After setting up alsa to use pulseaudio, I get the following message:
Code:
ALSA lib ../../src/dlmisc.c:236:(snd1_dlobj_cache_get) Cannot open shared library /usr/lib32/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_pulse.so
This library doesn't exist; I expect I could download it from 32-bit debian packages but I would rather just use a 64-bit executable; is this not possible?

In Debian Squeeze I installed lib32asound2-plugins and now the sound works.
