Title: Doesn't start on OSX 10.7.3, iMac 2011 Post by: stooovie on April 23, 2012, 08:51:49 am Botanicula doesn't launch on my mid-2011 iMac fully updated with latest Flash player. Icon bounces in Dock for a while and then just sits there indefinitely (I am not keeping the icon in Dock, it just hangs there). I have checked Console but haven't found anything related to Botanicula.

It's some kind of permissions problem that can NOT be solved by Disk Utility and does not pertain to Botanicula specifically. It's an account issue. It can be solved by running BatChmod http://www.lagentesoft.com/batchmod/index.html, entering 755 octal permissions and ticking "Unlock", "Clear xattrs" and "Apply to enclosed folders and files". App runs then just fine. This applies to any app that refuses to run in this manner.
