Title: colour-blindness
Post by: justwes on October 16, 2009, 05:58:01 pm
so playing through the demo i did fine, but now that i'm playing the game i'm starting to get worried (after messing with the fan machine).

as someone who is red/green colour-blind can i expect to be able to play this game all the way through without needing colour help?

Hmm there are a few puzzles that use orange, red and green colors to get to the solution, so I think those would be a problem for you.

Right after that fan machine (the guy who gives you questions to answer) you'll find a panel that shows green, yellow and red lights.

So maybe if you could find someone to sit next to you and tell you which squares are what color?

Anyway, good luck.

well good news is that i've since beaten the game since i posted that question.

other than the fan puzzle i don't feel that i had any colour issues.  i thought that i would have problems with the 6 light panels in the green house or the lights on the door mechanism but if there were colours there, it didn't affect my progress.

i only wish the game was longer.

And what about the deaf people? How are they supposed to solve the final 5-tone key riddle?
Shame on Amanita Design for creating this discriminating game! :D
