Title: What type of coding does Amanita Design use?
Post by: Chanthecat on December 22, 2012, 03:46:27 am
I was wondering what kind of coding Amanita Design uses to make their games, so then I can learn that type of coding and make my own games. :)

Hiya Chanthecat.

Amanita Design created all their games using Flash (http://www.indieflashblog.com/how-to-become-a-successful-game-developer-with-adobe-flash.html) and then had to engage the knowledge of computer programmers to adapt each game to whatever new platform they wanted to port to - such as iPAD or Android or Blackberry or Play Station or SnaggleFwaz... oops!  That was supposed to stay secret until 2013!   :P

Woah! Cool, if I make any games (most likely not) then I'll only do PC.

That's a sure way to severely limit the exposure and audience of your game :P
