There is no French Box Version of the game available right now and there is by my knowledge none planned. A Russian (http://www.snowball.ru/machinarium/), German (http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B002PAR4CU/), Italian (http://multiplayer.com/videogiochi/pc-windows/machinarium-versione-unica-pc-mac-ita.html) version is available though. It's possible an English one is made at some point, but there isn't one right now. French: Un coffret version francaise n'est pas prevue pour le moment, j'en suis navre. Mais personne ne sait ce que le futur nous apporte, donc la possibilite d'un tel coffret n'est pas a exclure. Un coffret Anglais reste une forte possibilite, comme l'annonce le createur du jeu: hi everybody interested in English boxed version, we hope to publish some nice boxed special edition version in the future on our own probably, because it seems publishers (especially in US) are not interested in adventure games anymore. On store it's written that English CD version will be available in March. Do you have any informations when it will be available (if)? I always prefer if possible buying games, music, etc. in tangible forms. Especially MP3s are soon lost in the memory, but if you buy the CD you remember artwork,etc. I think it's similar with the games... I know it's expensive to release on CD but if it will be available I will wait for it. :) all the best! Title: Re: English or French version? Does it work on Mac? :) I don't know whether it qualifies as a "limited edition"; I mean it's not signed by the developers or anything like that. But it does contain some special stuff (as described at the Mamba online order page (http://www.mamba-games.co.uk/machinarium-p-55.html)). But, yes, it does (finally (http://machinarium.net/forum/index.php/topic,806.0.html)) work on both PC and MAC! ;) |
