Hi FrankShorty,
Thanks for your contribution to the forum!  Yep, your choice of posting in General Machinarium topics seems right as rain to me.  But I modified your subject line to get specific about which Amanita Design game you were playing as there might eventually be other "Let's Play" YouTubes showing up here some day.   ;)

P.S. For the record: Amanita Design's "Video Policy (" is described on the very bottom of the Amanita Design home page (

"We encourage our customers to make videos using Amanita Design game content, such as playthrough or let's play videos. We are fine with publishing these videos to your website or YouTube or similar video sharing services. We're not fine with taking assets from our games (e.g. graphics, music, sound effects) and distributing those separately.

Use of our content in videos must be non-commercial. By that we mean you can't charge users to view or access your videos. You also can't sell or license your videos to others for a payment of any kind.

You are free to monetize your videos via the YouTube partner program or similar programs on other video sharing sites. Please don't ask us to give you email permission to post a particular video using Amanita Design content, please use the link to this page instead.

This policy applies only to Amanita Design content. If you include someone else's content in your video, such as music, you will have to get permission from the owner."

Hi Alex,

Thank you for the reply and the edit, much appreciated!

Yup, I read the policy, thanks! YouTube is giving me trouble over the music in the background though, as that is a third party copyright owner.. I think it is the publisher of Tomáš Dvořák who has added his music to the Content ID system, and justly so I might add. O well!
