I'm thinking about buying Samorost 3 for iPad but I actually haven't played 1& 2. Is it best to play these first or does it not really matter? I have Machinarium and really enjoyed that game but did not get into Botanicula and found it a bit frustrating. Do you think I will enjoy this game based on this? So if you're looking for a "continuation of Machinarium" then you will be disappointed with Samorost 3. But you can play Samorost 1 and the first "half" of Samorost 2 for free and make your mind up from there. You'll find the links in the "Games" tab up top. I thought I would give an update. I just jumped straight in and bought Samorost 3 on iPad and I'm loving it! A lot of fun and really beautiful graphics and soundtrack. After this I will have to go back and play Machinarium again and have a look at the other Samorost games. I also look forward to what comes next. Thanks for the replies :) P.S. I will leave a positive review in the App Store. |
