Title: One of the best point and click games i've ever played

I started playing point and click games when the old Lucas Arts games came out (Monkey Island, ZakMcKracken, Loom, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis etc.), and i fell in love with the genre. Then, in my opinion, this kind of games pretty much died at the end of the '90s (I enjoyed Broken Sword, but apart from that, i can't remember playing any other good point and click game during those years).
Machinarium impressed me from the same moment i started playing the demo, so I bought the game, and I've finished it tonight. My expectations have been (almost) completely fulfilled.
I registered on this forum just to say that I think this game is already a classic, maybe not as much as the aforementioned games, which started the genre, but it's up there with the best 2D point and click games of all time, and my hope is to see this game bring new life to the genre.

The scenarios are wonderful, and anyone can see the passion that the artists put on each one of them. It's a real work of art, and one of the best aspects of the game. Living in an era where entertainment is made just for profits, being able to play a videogame that was clearly made by people who love their jobs, is certainly a big pleasure.
I also loved the animations and sounds.. Each little detail has been developed perfectly.
The music is really appropriate for the atmosphere, and contributes to make this game feel unique.
The puzzles are moderately hard. They're not easy, but it's rare to get completely stuck. Some of them are really original. The minigame for the walkthrough is a nice addition.
The atmosphere is melancholic, with some really funny and cute scenes (the "bubbles" are another great aspect of the game. loved the "evil laughs", in some scenes  ;D)

The only complaint is for the longevity. I know that a lot of work was put in this game, so it's not a big deal, but I wish it was a few hours longer, that's it.

I'm really hoping for a sequel, with nice new puzzles, the same atmosphere, and maybe 15-20 hours of gameplay.
