14 Chickens glitch in the kitchen?

I cannot collect this last chicken. The acorn comes to deliver nuts to the pot, I cannot click on him to drop his nuts. How do I advance, what do I do?

Click him when he stops beside the pot, one will fall. Click that.

I have cllcked the chestnut and all his acorn numerous times at various times.  Nothing works! I may have an error in my game.  What can I do and who can fix this?

I found a different solution:
 Click on the pepper shaker on the shelf above the cook, take it to the far right. Shake it over the big guy on the right. He will be intrigued and walk over to the cook. Cook will chase him back to the right. When cook is away from the pot, steal the chicken. Done.
