Weird black and orange aliens through telescope after completion of game

Hello,

(I didn't post this in the Puzzle Q&A, since I'm not sure if this is part of a puzzle.)

After I've "finished" the game (I'm assuming - I've had the end credits, but can still travel the world), some weird aliens are showing up in my telescope view. One each for each of the directions the telescope can swing to (so four in total). I've attached links to pictures of two. When I go to space, however, I can't track them down.

Any thoughts?
