I just discovered a game that looks quite like Machinarium or Samorost, but does not seem to be related to Amanita: http://www.bigfishgames.com/download-games/12507/mac/the-tiny-bang-story/index.html
Is this OK?

yes!  Smiley

Yes, I agree. It's a very nice game developed by Colibri Games.

The game can be downloaded through steam and playism (Japan), but it wasn't released physically yet. And I only buy games in physical format.  Smiley

By the way, look at these pictures. Very similar locations I think:

Mariya, actually I wrote about the same in the post above.  Smiley  But I see more similarities between these two pictures, look to the arrangement of the objects: a jug and a tower with guardian, a bottle and a wall with gates, a bridge (look at my pictures), a wires and of course, a column.  Smiley
Anyhow, interesting that not only me found these screens.  Wink

Maybe Colibri Games developers is a fans by "Machinarium".  Smiley

Just as we've been saying all along...  Wink

What was the inspiration for The Tiny Bang Story?
We are always inspired by the masterpieces of Dutch classic art, but the first impulse for the creation of The Tiny Bang Story was Machinarium - a very beautiful game.

And here are the great new about this game.

I immediately felt a connection to Machinarium as soon as I played this gorgeous game! The frustrating pipes puzzle is definitely inspired by Amanita.  Cheesy

Everyone, do yourself a favor and get the free soundtrack. It's some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard in a video game (along with Machinarium etc of course.)

By the way, does anyone know what's going on with Colibri Games, the makers of Tiny Bang Story? They're from Russia so it's hard to contact them, but does anyone know if they're still making games? I can't wait for a sequel!
