Can't drag pepper shaker [SOLVED]

In the chicken-collecting part of the game, there's a big house where a cook is stirring a big pot of stew and a huge fellow is sleeping to the far right. I am supposed to click on a pepper shaker above the cook so the feather bug can pick it up and drag him over the big fellow to sprinkle pepper over him o wake him. But everytime I click on the pepper shaker, the feather bug just sprinkles pepper into the pot of stew, there's no way to drag him to the far right over the sleeping big fellow. I am stuck in this scene and it's very frustrating >.<

I figured out how to do it! After clicking the pepper shaker, I have to click under the pot right away, and then my cursor is able to move the feather bug along with the pepper shaker over the sleeping creature and sprinkle pepper over him!
