I didn't know you could play any part of the game on an Android device.  Huh

I just know that for the computer, you'd unzip the file and you will have a 'samorost' folder; open that folder and then open the main.swf file using Flash Player. You don't need to do anything with the .swf files; just leave them all in the 'samorost' folder.
Not sure what you mean that this "happens only when the file is incomplete". By "file" do you mean "folder"? Are you taking one of the .swf files out of the 'samorost' folder? If you are, then yes, there will be a black screen once you get to the corresponding level.

You can play it on android as long as the game exists in a swf version,
you need adobe flash, and a proper swf file viewer.

I guess on PC the programm collects all the files in the folder
and runs them as a one solid swf file.

However on my phone I guess I need to open the
files one by one or something.

Well, anyways thanks, I'll have to try another flash game
viewing app.

Update: Figured it out.

And...?  I think this subject deserves it's own separate topic in the Samorost 1 & 2 board.
How did you finally solve your "Samorost 1 on Android" problem   Huh

I extracted only the "main.swf" file, so the viewer couldn't play the other
files in the folder, silly me  Roll Eyes I guess I did that cause Lamkin was saying that
you launch the game by opening the "main.swf".

Hmm...I just looked back at what I'd said on the first page of the thread. Ack. :/ Yeah, that was a bit confusing, I have to admit. I never did say that all the .swf files need to be in the one folder. My fault. Sorry about that, Lemon. :)

@Alex: Thanks for making the separate topic. :)

Nevermind, and if you're talking about the android guide, that was actually made by me Cheesy

Now, is there a link for the swf version of the Samorost 2 demo? Would like to
try it out if there is.
