Dial doesn't work

Hi There,

I'm so happy to have Machinarium, it's a beautiful fun game. But I do have a problem The 'play' button on the dial to retreive the dog for the robot lady doesn't work. No light will burn... I'm using Windows Vista, service pack 2. Well, to understand what the H*ll I'm talking about, see the image below. I really hope someone can help because I want to play... Thanks in advance!
