Am I tone deaf or something? (End of game spoilers)

Just finished the game, super fun.  I made it through the whole game with no cheats or hints up until the very end, when I gave up and had to look
up the key combination to the song to get up to the helicopter.  I listened to the tune on the radio a hundred times, I have written down 1-4-2 5-2-3.  Never did I hear that 3 in the middle.  Even after I looked it up I went back to listen for it again, and I still don't hear it.  Is it just me?
