I just wonder, which technique was used to draw levels and characters of Machinarium, how it was drawn or painted, or some "making-of" pictures Smiley

I read somewhere that the artist was drawing too exactly with his right hand so he switched to his left.
I can't remember the source, but I will find it.

EDIT: Can't find it yet, but there's something in this interview:

And a load of early sketches here: http://boingboing.net/2009/10/14/everything-but-the-g-1.html

I heard it too in an audio interview.
It was really cool but I can't find it :/ I am pretty sure the link has been posted somewhere in this forum.
Already checked the Blog.

EDIT: Got it! "JD's lecture Delivered at Casual Connect Europe, February 2010"

Also mentioned here:Machinarium - Hand Made Robots (MIGS'09)

"Wanted art style to be different from Samorost.
Wanted 'hand drawn personal robots contrasting with metallic rusting robot world'.
The first hand drawn concept inspired them.
Lead artist initially produced some amazing, extremely percise pencils...
but TOO percise. They wanted him to relax his style, but he just couldn't do it.
Solution: Artist drew EVERYTHING with his left hand. 'It worked.'"
