Do you know the puzzle, where you have to slide the 3 green balls to the destination squares?

It's on the left in this solution image: http://i39.tinypic.com/1499k74.jpg

The thing is, I am a developer, and it inspired me to write a game with such puzzles. I have some concerns: would I get in trouble with any licensing (assuming I don't include the original 2 puzzles in my game)?
Is this puzzle originally made by Machinarium authors, or is it a well known class of puzzles? Anyone know where I could read up on them?

To the authors: could I get in contact with the person who developed the puzzles, assuming it's original.

I would also much like some input from all, weather you think this could be a good idea for a standalone game. Is it the next Tetris? Wink
(I also have written a 'Solver' for these type of puzzles, it is quite slow, but for example it can tell that the top puzzle can be solved in 21 moves and has 1246 distinct configurations, fwiw)

I am also having an extremely hard time designing the puzzles, whoever made them has sooooome talent!

I will publish the development on this blog, if as it progresses:
