Hello,

My boyfriend and I are halfway through playing this game (which we are loving!) but then our PC died and we've replaced it with an iMac. We have salvaged the hard drive from the PC and have it connected to the Mac (via external caddy), and we've got Machinarium running on the mac, but I still have two questions:
(1) Where would our saved game have been stored on the PC?
(2) Even if we find it, would the same save game file work on the mac?
(3) And if it WOULD work, where should we put it to enable the game to find it?

The only alternative is to play the game through again, but we'd rather not have to do this.

Many thanks in advance,

ZC

Your saved game(s) are in a file called "machinarium.sol".  It's a cross-platform file so your PC .sol will work on your MAC.
Have a look-see in the "Shared Machinarium .sol Files" forum for instructions on how to find/swap this file (you'll find the info you need in the Win FAQ).

Good luck.  Don't hesitate to write back if you run into any troubles.

And I'd be willing to help if you have any Mac-specific questions, ZC.
