Hi there.

I got machinarium in the humble bundle, i've activated my code on steam and have installed machinarium. When i boot it up the animations are slow and i have to click quite far to the right of the menu options to select them. When i try to turn off hardware acceleration the box is completely unresponsive and i can't exit it either.

You can set launch options for games on steam but you have to type them in. i found one to open it in windowed mode but it booted up as a blank box. cis there a command i could insert so hardware acceleration is turned off?

Are we supposed to be psychics?!

Windows (XP, Vista, 7)?
MAC?
or Linux (Ubuntu, etc.)?

Cool.  Thanks for that crucial info.  And no offense taken, dude; it's just that sometimes it really does seem like posters to this forum behave as though the crew here were psychics.
(if only! Tongue )

So as to your game performance issue; by any chance, did you increase your font size from 100% to some percentile higher?

No offense taken at all, it was a silly mistake. I did change the font sizes in steam friends because i'm using a HDTV as my monitor but i haven't changed anything in machinarium
