well we plan on launching pre-orders for Machinarium. it should be for discounted price and you will receive pre-order pack with some hi-res pictures and mp3's from the original soundtrack. the game would be delivered as soon as it's officially released or maybe even a little sooner.

Wow, that's very nice of you guys! Will the pre-order only apply for the boxed version? What distributor (webshop) will be used? Sorry for going off topic, maybe it would be worthwile to open a pre-order topic and move this conversation there. Smiley

Go for it JD!

I've been an Amanita Design fan-atic ever since Samorost 1 hit The Web, and I've collected all the versions of Samorost 2 that I could obtain (digital download and Quasi Delict hybrid CD).  And I'd even be glad to collect the Russian (Snowball.ru) boxset too! (if I could somehow figure out how to process the online financial transaction)  Cheesy

So, in other words, I vote "Yes!" to the pre-order digital download - and then "Yes!" to the boxed version - and then "Yes!" to "The Director's Cut" of Machinarium... etc. etc.    Grin

You can count on me signing up as soon as it's is available. Will you be taking Mac/PC/Linux pre-orders simultaneously?

England would be nice as well. It's quite easy to "distribute" games from here to the rest of Europe because most webshops accept international orders.
Will the boxed version have any special extras that the digital can't have (apart from the actual box) like an artwork book?
Also, is there a Collectors Edition planned (that includes Samorost 1 & 2)?

Sign me up for the digital pre-order as well. Can't wait Cheesy

Try to negotiate with Valve as well to get the pre-orders out to Steam. You would get a much better result as loads of people visit Steam on a daily basis and most of them don't even know the game (and they might never find this website in time).

pre-order will be very probably for $17 (which is $3 less than the regular price). it should be available soon.
