The first single from the album is available now for free download from innerfx.bandcamp.com!

It's called Casanova and contains the tracks:
  • Casanova
  • Self Portrait No. 7

It's been a long wait, but I'm really looking forward to this album.  Grin

Here's the album preview in case anyone hasn't seen it yet:

This is so exciting. Tomáš - your music has been the soundtrack to my life for a long time now. It has inspired me, and I never tire of listening to it. I will preorder the album right away and can't wait to hear more of your music. Keep on making it and we will keep listening. Much respect.

I just got an email from Minority Records about Floex's new album!

"Finally, the release date of Floex's new album Zorya is near, and you've got the chance to preorder the album as of today! The collection of 11 songs packaged in digipack CD flawlessly designed by Jirka Libansky officially comes out on September 26th. Digipack also contains 2 screenprinted cards with illustrations by Veronika Vlkova. Every CD preorder & order via Minority Records online shop comes with 1" Zorya button unavailable anywhere else."

link: http://minorityrecords.com/store/

"Intimate and enjoyable set of compositions, centered around clarinet and piano are accompanied by Tomáš Dvorák's electronic wizardry. Number of acoustic instruments played by guest musicians from different parts of the World were incorporated with insight into the train and signif icantly developed its track. Would hardly be Casanova without the trumpet of Slovak jazz mastermind Oskar Török, Precious Creature without the vocal of Minneapolis based singer and actor James Rone, Veronika's Dream without the violoncello of Berlin philharmonic member Tomáš Jamník and Nel Blu without the empathic vocal of Marinella Mastrosimone of Italian electronic stars Musetta.

Album which takes Slavic night guard goddess "Zorya Polunochnaya" as symbol, explores deeper, subconscious and nightly moods of the music. Despite its soundtrack aura, this may be Floex's most energetic album up to date - very adventurous, ecstatic and almost storytelling. Sounding as contemporary as it is evocative of another time and place. Musica nocturna of these days and especially nights!"

An interview with Floex, mainly about his musical formation and game music, but in which he talks a bit about Zorya in the day of release.

I'm listening the album all day, and it's really impressive. I love it.

"If I had to single out one composer who managed to fuse the oftentimes at-odds worlds of the organic and electronic into one tremendous, gorgeous sum it would be Tomas Dvorak, the man behind Floex and the exceptional soundtracks to Amanita Design’s flash games...."

The song "Forget-me-not" is fantastic. I've probably listened to it at least 20 times today.
