With the May 1st, 2014 release of Botanicula for iPad the obvious next question was, "When will Botanicula be released for Androids?"

The answer comes via Facebook:

@Mayank Chaudhary: "Everything for only apple device why not for Google Play you are also in those developers which only follows the ios only like chillingo etc, your's only one game for Google Play.. . why?? ??"

@Amanita Design: "we are working also on GP version, but it's not easy to make sure it works fine on several thousands different devices. iOS is just iPad and iPhone (which we don't support)"

Up to now most apps and games still start from the iOS point before moving to Android. It's all dependent on the number of users and iOS takes the win then followed by Android. The good thing is that the google play store doesn't take too long before bringing in an app or game.
