Save file location

Where are the save files located? I may have encountered a bug, Im not entirely sure because its to do with a puzzle (the hunter card one - the cards that I believe I need disappeared without counting towards the goal) but Id like to start from the beginning again by deleting the save file since there appears to be no option for that in game. I have the DRM free version.

 I'm a bit confused by your wording, so just in case, there is a way to start from the beginning—click the load button and then click the first circle on the left. As far as the location of the save file, on Windows I'm not entirely sure, but for Mac the save files are in:
{YourHomeFolder}/Library/Application Support/Amanita Design/Samorost 3

if i copy the game to a USB and i launch it from there, can i do that the game's data wil automatically be saved on it?
and if not, how can i copy the game's data to the USB?

My girlfriend had exactly the same problem but she had to start the game again from scratch.

Hello. I neede to format my pc but i'm playing samorost3 and I don't wanna play to from the beginning, can you tell me where i can find the save files in order to store them and then put them in the new installation? i'm using a windows vista pc. Thank you.
