I've tried everything to get the bird to fall. I've watched the videos on Youtube. I've done it fast, slow, fast, then slow. I can't go any further, without the bird falling. Is there a certain mouse technique I should use.

As stupid as may sound. i used a software to record my mouse movements and then put it in replay until the did fall. it took me like 5 minutes.

It's all about rhythm, you must synchronize with the birds movements to maximize momentum.

It's like swinging on a swing. You have to adapt your movements for the period of your oscillation

I finally broke the wire - I've been trying for a week now. Immediately saved game. I played with all my mouse controls and the parameter that helped me was in the mouse pointer options tab 'Enhance pointer precision,' had to UNCHECK that. It worked. Hope this helps anyone else.

For me, it only worked after I put all the pieces of the electric circuit in the right positions...

Fixing the difficulty of this to be a little more simple would be my only suggestion to the devs. I was hugely frustrated when I found out I had solved the puzzle in my head but was stuck because the execution was so difficult.

How can anyone help you? You haven't said what version of the game you're playing - Windows MAC or Linux.
