Can't progress in level 3 (mine craft)

I have a problem in level 3 (the one after you fall down because of the oil on the pit)
I even followed tutorials but something seems wrong.
This is what I do (sorry for my english):
1) I go to the panel and put it in the right way (A-2);
2) I go upstairs to grab the hook and put it on the left edge of the oblique metal bar;
3) I reach the yellow wedge and after robot falls down I put it on the rail;
4) I activate the lever to make the cart exit, "but" after it jumps on the yellow edge it doesn't crush so that I can continue (touching wheels and so on...) but it jumps off the screen ... no matter how many times I try.... What's wrong???

try taking the thing off the rails, then put it back but on the lower rail line.
