There is MD5 checksums for game files in the blog.

MD5 checksums of files, which I bought:
85fd81c752ae3b76d46670ec69c6652d  Machinarium-full_en_v2.exe
5755fb72e1c85ab404ea830588d9607c  MachinariumSoundtrack.zip
49f4353e8e4a120eb9e5ca274afacdd6  Machinarium_full_en_v2.dmg
483a5fe220a1b3f5ac2b4a92a69df895  Machinarium_full_en_v2.tar.gz

All checksums are correct, except one, Linux version, it matches MD5 for the previous version, before 24.10.2009 (dispite filename). As I understood, since 24.10.2009 a new (bug-fixed) version was released. Why I have and old version? Maybe, there is a mistake in the blog, or an old Linux version of the game distributed erroneously?

It's a very important for me, because Linux is my primary system!

Download the Patch here: http://machinarium.net/blog/2009/10/29/machinarium-patch-01/
Retargz the whole and see if it matches the MD5 checksum.

Do you know, that .tar.gz contains metadata (owner, group, date, time, etc) in addition to files? Even GZIP compression level and order of appearance of files in archive is important in this case! Re-created archive can't match!

Yeah that's most likely but why not give it a try anyway. I'm downloading the new build right now to see what this all about.

EDIT: Forgive me for my stupid "advices" I should've known better...

You're right that's the old build.

I reported the issue to jd.

Can I get a full patched version? I have an "Order ID", if needed.

If I get some news I will post it here, but most likely the link to the Linux build you got per mail will be fixed eventually.

Just redownloaded with link I got per mail. Nothing changes: same MD5, same filesize (360 413 151 bytes) Sad

483a5fe220a1b3f5ac2b4a92a69df895  Machinarium_full_en_v2.tar.gz

Look at filename, link in my mail points to file with "_v2", it's important? Or, maybe, I must receive new link?

No, it's the old links you got per mail. I don't have "_v2" in my filenames, maybe that's the problem.

EDIT: Did you preorder?

OK. So, you bought it after the builds have been updated. Not sure if that's relevant at all...
I didn't receive a confirmation yet. I just tried downloading from my link to see if something had changed and it had. Maybe they're still setting up the servers for everyone...
In the mean time use the patch on the blog, they are aware of the problem and I linked them to this thread. If you still have problems then send a mail to contact-at-amanitadesign.com describing your problem.
