Greenhouse upper platform

In the greenhouse, at the far left end of the upper platform, there is a machine in the wall (motor, flywheel, belt). The machine is clickable, but nothing happens--except the robot shrugs. Is anything supposed to happen? This does not affect the outcome of the game, just curious.

yeah this fazed me out as well - theres def a clickable hotspot that shows up..............but red herring so don't fret it! Bug?

Yeah, I was thinking the clickable spot was a red herring. Maybe at one point in development it did something else? Like the belt had slipped off and you had to put it back on a la Samorost 2. Only Amanita knows...
