Hello,

I wish to buy Machinarium, however i do not have a credit card.

When i saw the paypal option i was happy, i clicked paypal, but i can not use my paypal ballance or instant bank transfer.

This is stupid, i understand why normal bank is not allowed, but why cant we do instant bank transfer, or paypal ballance?

This means any kid who can not convince their parents to give them their cc, will have no other way to get the game..

MacGameStore only does cc too..

I will NOT pirate the game, but i am very annoyed that i have to wait for this to be resolved, otherwise i have to buy on steam, then get a pirate copy for my mac, and not feel bad cause i paid on steam for it, and if i did it on the web site would have gotten every os verison + music... arg.

You could go to the bank and get a student credit card, which is only good for the amount of cash you deposit into the account, and usually only up to $300. If you are old enough to buy something you are ld enough to start learning about maintaining good credit.

Or you can transfer the funds to a friend's paypal account that does have a credit card linked to it so he can gift you Machinarium.

I'd like to second this; I don't have a credit card either (and in Europe most people don't, that's really an American thing), and I had to ask friends over in the US to pay for it, and send them the money via bank transfer, which wasn't at all practical. The two solutions posted above are 1. Not applicable outside the US, and 2. not practical at all, especially the first one.

Yer, in australia you can get a keycard, that lets you take money out at atm's and pay at shops that take efpos, but you can not use them online. I am under 18, and you have to be over 18 to get a cc here in australia.

It's kinda stupid to be offering paypal just to do cc, as the only benefit you get is yor ur money back after 45 days if you never get your game... And the bank does this kind of stuff anyways. (Although paypal is much easier to do)

I was just annoyed because instant bank transfer and paypal ballance still ensure direct instant money to company. I guess i have to try convince one of my over 18 friends to buy me the game, but as you can see it's not ideal at all, and could be to much effort for others who will just end up torrenting the game, that is very unfortunate, as i am sure we would all love to see a Machinarium 2.

  it is very, very, very, very, very stupid to use only credit card and paypal as payment ways with Machinarium!!! Why should I buy a credit card or open paypal account? With no doubt Machinarium is the excellent game. But what's the difficult with opening other payment options like WebMoney or SMS?? I don't get it! I believe if a person wants to play the game and has no any normal way to buy it then the person googles 'machinarium download'. This is for sure. I want to play Machinarium very much. I guess you (amanita-design) want to get as much profit as you can with this game. So let's help each other. Open OTHER EASY payment options!!!
