thanks!Machinarium will be without words, so there's probably no need for other languages versions. however we can make the menus and all written informations around the game in other languages too.

Without words? As I think, it's like Samorost series - only symbols & indistinct utterances, isn't it?
 Hm, it's interesting...

 Hi JD or Jakub,
I'm an American living in Prague (I think you're in Brno, though, right?) and if you want Machinarium's menu checked over for an American English version I wouldn't mind doing it--I'm a big fan of Samorost 1&2 and even bought #2's add-on (even though I usually never do something like that).

I work for a Javykova Skola and sometimes I do translations (for song lyrics, business communications, wedding speeches, etc.) either just fixing 'Czenglish' or from Czech to English by working with my Czech girlfriend.  I have a business and international relations education background.

So if you'd like to do any marketing targeting Americans I could do translations/checking Czenglish for you real cheap, like I said I'm a big fan.

Btw I can make the Russian version if you need for free at all I had some experience in translating games on GBA (http://www.blob.timos.org/item2.htm ). Please feel free to contact me if required. Looking forward to see the game! Oh... and another question I have - since the demo was shown on a recent fair, will it (demo) be available for download somewhere soon? Hope it was not done exclusively for the show. |

the adventure market in germany is booming at the moment, and there are more fans for adventure games than ever before, some games got even TV commercials.
this sounds interesting! how is the market booming? what games are getting TV commercials? if germany is booming now, maby we can expect a greater global interest in adventuregames in the future? would be nice to see the genre have just one more gloryday. |

My native language is Hungarian but I live in England so I can offer you an English (or German ) to Hungarian translation for menus and everything else there is (for free, of course). I've translated a few games and movies before, my experience should be enough. Feel free to contact me anytime |
