After all yesterday's playing, I have just realized that my progress is lost because of the lovely CCleaner (is there really no way to integrate an automatic backup tool into the game? Someone could write an autoit script I think).

OK, but now I have only two solution, either to restart the whole game, or to ask here for someone to share a savegame. As I think it was after back alley that the game got diverse, I would like to ask someone to share a savegame of back alley. Can someone upload the machinarium.sol to any file sharing service and post the link here?

We have a thread on the forum called "Shared Machinarium .sol Files".  In there you'll find instructions and a stash of saved games that allows you to drop down into any start point you want along with all the inventory items needed to proceed.
