Can't [buy] Machinarium on ipad mini with ios 7.1.2 [cause: iPad Restrictions]

When my daughter goes to Machinarium in the app store on her mini, there is no option to download or buy it. There's just the little icon at the top right that you use to tweet/FB/ etc. I don't understand why no option shows up. Is there a compatibility issue?

Are you seeing this with other apps on the App Store, or is it just Machinarium? Also, is it that the purchase button is greyed out, or that there simply isn't a purchase button?

Only Machinarium - never seen it before with any other app.

The only thing I can think of is that it's related to her iPad's Restrictions, as Machinarium has a 12+ age recommendation. I suggest that you check that out to make sure that Restrictions are set to Off. If you're not sure how to do so, you can access Restrictions under Settings > General > Restrictions > Apps.

Also, you might try going to Settings > iTunes & App Store, tapping your Apple ID, signing out, then signing back in to see if that makes any difference.

Ooooooh thank you SO MUCH. My daughter is ecstatic, having pestered me about this approximately forever. I checked... her age restrictions were set to 9+ and this was a 12+. Shows you how often we buy games that we never came across this before
