Hey there,

nearly every time I use the horn (or activate the antennae of the crazy moth) the whole game freezes and I have to force shut down and restart the computer.
When started again it works maybe once, but the next horn/antennae crashes the game again.
I tried to play not using fullscreen, but it made no difference.

I use a MacBook Pro (mid 2010) with Mac OSX Lion 10.7.5 (2,4GHz Dual Core, 4GB RAM) which I know is according to GOG technically not supported anymore, but up to the horn/antennae scenes it went very well.

I really like the game, but now I am stuck in the second world.

There is a similar post in the windows-section (http://forum.amanita-design.net/index.php?topic=5300.0) but the help offered there doesn't work for macs.

Any idea how to fix this?

Not sure what you could do you other than to try deleting, then redownloading and reinstalling the game. :/ If that doesn't help, you should contact the developers and let them know about the issue; you can use the form at the bottom of this page:

According to GOG the minimum Mac system requirements are -
Mac: OS X 10.9 or later
1.7 GHz Dual Core
1 GB RAM
1 GB Disk Space

I'm running a MacBookPro (late 2011) with Mac OSX Lion 10.7.5 (2.2 Ghz Intel Core i7, 6GB RAM) and Samorost3 runs perfectly fine.

Our system specs, yours and mine, are almost exactly identical except for the RAM.  So my recommendation would be to install 2GB more of RAM.

Same problem on MBP 8.2 with i7 and 8Gb of RAM. Playing it on Steam. Still no support from Amanita Team at many discussion boards. Very strange policy.

@yashperizza,
submit your complaint directly to Amanita Design support staff here

Then please be so kind as to post a follow up on this thread when you find a solution.
(I suspect it's a video driver issue)

@yashperizza, I took the liberty of adding the solution you posted to the Steam forum here on this thread. ~ Alex

yashperizza = Ok, now I know the reason why it's crashes so often - this happenes only when You trying play the horn at the same place again and again )) just stop doing it and go forward!! Smiley game crashes sometims but NOT so often and only when I'm playing the horn. Now I think that this happenes only at the end of horn playing scenes - incorrect Steam/Samorost pop-up notification window appears just for 1/10 second and crashes the game.
So, maybe Amanit can fix this soon.
Big thanks to all Amanita team for their great beautiful work! And good luck to everyone playing Samorost Smiley
