Would you ever consider making Giclée prints of these images?

no:) these are backgrounds from unrealized animated feature film. we created a few pilot backgrounds (with help of painter Zdenek Danek), character designs and some animations.

It would be awesome if we could see some higher quality versions of those backgrounds. Smiley They looks awesome, but it's hard to tell what's in them. I'm especially intrigued by the one in the bottom left.

Beautiful images!  The one on the right in the bottom row reminds me a bit of John Howe's work (shades of Hobbiton).

Also I'm intrigued by that conspicuous empty place holder to the far right.  Smiley

we are just preparing another exhibition in Pardubice (it's here in Czech Rep.). it'll be collective exhibition with our friends painter Zdenek Danek (http://www.zdenekdanek.net/) and multimedia artist Jakub Nepras (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgedAFGi2Yw). we'd like show Machinarium playable and other finished games, music videos (one brand new) and many prints with screenshots from our realized and non-realized projects and also some sketches etc. the exhibition will be open from 26 November to February 2009.

as for the posters - sorry, I don't have a single one.

Here's the exhibition's web presence...

the exhibition is called Druha priroda which means Second Nature. nice catalogue done by Linda Ciharova was published. you can buy it in the gallery in Pardubice (it's written both Czech and English and it costs 220 CZK I guess).

Her performance art looks charming.

Was she the inspiration for Samorost's gnome?    Cheesy
