I also pre-ordered Machinarium yesterday immediately after I received the info mail. :)
I'm really eager to play it.
Right now I'm loving the HD pics as new desktop wallpapers and listening to the beautiful mp3s!  :D

But I wonder, the pre-ordering says that you get the download link for the full version. Ergo I thought it's only a download title. But this thread http://www.machinarium.com/machinarioforum/index.php?topic=220.0 (http://www.machinarium.com/machinarioforum/index.php?topic=220.0) says that Daedalic is publishing it in Germany and Austria. Does this mean the Pre-Order customers get a physical boxed disc-version of the game? That would be great.

unfortunately pre-ordering is available only for the download version so far. Daedalic will publish the boxed game only in German speaking countries and that CD version will be probably more expensive than download.

All right, then I'm gonna play the game after I got my download link from you guys and then I'm gonna buy it when Daedalic releases it in order to have the game in a wonderful physical form of a box. :)

i want to ask, if when preordered you can also get a boxed copy?
for example from daedelic in german, do you have to order that extra or is it involved (maybe with some extra costs for the publishing and stuff)?

I loved the Samorost series, but never had a credit card. I do now, and i'm excited to support the people who make these AWESOME GAMES possible!! haha.

But what i'm really looking for is the soundtrack!! I love the music from these games!! Can't wait to get it!!

Long time haven't visited...  Didn't know about the pre-order.  I just pre-ordered it from the Mac's girlfriend and I will look at the images and MP3 when I will be back home next week.

somebody posted a link to your game trailer on Reddit the other day, and that video sold me.  I went ahead and pre-ordered the game (I have never done that before).  I also posted a link to the video in my gaming clan's forums.  I don't know if it will be fun to play (I'm more of an FPS guy) but the art is amazing and it really sold me.

I have been looking forward to this game ever since I spotted it in a PC Gamer magazine about a year ago!

I will definitely pre-order, but have one question. Will I be able to re-download the game at a later date (like how all my games are stored on Steam) or will I need to make a permanent copy myself to ensure I never loose my copy?

I have a problem, hopefully someone can give me an idea about what to do next.

Long story short, I found the demo yesterday, loved it, decided to pre-order, put in the credit card information and after hitting 'send order', I get a message saying that for unknown reasons the order or payment cannot go through. But I check my credit card account online and the money is charged instantly. So I write a message on the standard form available on the pre-order page, but I received no answer, nothing.
What to do next? ??? Anyone know who/ where can I contact someone directly? Thanks a lot!

I've just checked your order - it was processed and canceled by the system probably because the high risk analysis, I'm sure the money are back on your account. you can try to order again and enter correct address (the one that is associated with your payment card).

I would like to order again, but my Visa account still shows that the money was charged. Could you please double check the order and confirm that it was indeed canceled? I guess all I can do is wait until the bill comes and verify it then. I still want this game!

Funny how the money is always taken instantly from a bank account (literally in seconds), but to cancel a transaction and have the money back is not that easy. And I'm not talking about this situation, but in general...

I've only gotten the Premium Pack download link after purchase and was able to download it.

Noticed it on Steam earlier at 11.49. Went to order it a bit later and the price had dropped to 9.24, but it wouldn't accept my card. Just tried again, and it's gone back up to 11.49.

What's happening with the price?

I got mine straight from the source for a couple of reasons. More money for the devs and the pre-order goodies. At only $2 more than Direct2drive and/or Steam deals it was an easy choice. Can't wait :)

What do you guys mean by 'order summary'? When I pre-ordered on the 4th July, the only two emails I got were the link for the pre-order pack and an Order ID (a numeric code starting with the letters AMA). Nothing else.

I consider the email with the OrderID to be the order summary. You got the same two emais as me.

Took a few days, but the money showed up in my account again. I just ordered it again and everything went through with no problems this time and i received the 2 emails right away.
Now I can't wait to play the game!

I'm sorry - the pre-order pack is available only for those who pre-ordered through our website, also the soundtrack will be available only when you are buying on our web.

Any chance people who pre-ordered the game on Steam could pay a few extra bucks for the pre-order pack (and soundtrack)?

it will be probably possible to buy the soundtrack separately (sometime after the release).
new website with browser based demo will be alive on Friday, there you can find also some hi-res wallpapers.

So I've heard of this game just a few weeks ago.  I'm a big Diablo II fan and I'm still waiting for 1.13 to be released to start playing again.  Yesterday I bought both Titan's Quest for 10$.  I already played the original in the past but never played Immortal Throne.

So now I wonder how Torchlight will compare to both...

Man, this sucks! Only now I read about this game for the first time. I watch the trailer, and fall in love!

I want to pre-order and get mp3:s too! I should be allowed to pre-order since you can't actually order the game (yet!) ;).

Is it true that you get a Steam code here too? Steam is convenient, but I'd rather buy games directly from the dev if possible. Can I get both?

If you order the game from the main Machinarium site you will also receive the soundtrack...yes, even if you were unable to pre-order the game. HeadHunter, if I were you I would have waited just a few more hours until the new site was up. (Perhaps it's not too late to cancel your order from Direct2Drive.)

jd, is it possible to download the Mac and Linux Version aswell as the Soundtrack on Sunday? I am only on a slow Mobile Connection at the moment, so I intend to only download the Windows Version today. I hope the Download Links will be legit a few days/weeks.
