Go to the center of the bridge and make your robot move up and down like an accordeon. The bird will do the same thing until the wire snaps :)

You make it look so easy in the YouTube. I have tried this sooo many times, and my bird does not fall. It looks as if you made your bird fall in two up-down movements. Was it really that easy or was the video edited?
