Title: Error #1034 TypeError: Error #1034 Post by: tasuki on November 09, 2016, 10:28:25 pm Hi,
I bought Samorost 3 to my gf for her birthday, and it's crashing on her Windows 7 - sometimes randomly on autosave, but there's one place where it crashes 100% of the time. It's always the same TypeError at gui::SaveSlots$/saveToSlot() The stack trace is: Code: Error #1034 TypeError: Error #1034 Also please see the attached image. (Wow, I type stack traces from images...) Thank you, Vit (http://u.cubeupload.com/ABoretz/samorost3nosave.jpg) Title: Re: Error #1034 TypeError: Error #1034 Post by: tasuki on November 09, 2016, 10:29:01 pm Ah, also, I can't seem to find any contact info for the official support :(
Title: Re: Error #1034 TypeError: Error #1034 Post by: Alex on November 09, 2016, 10:48:20 pm Could be a corrupted install. Try deleting then re-downloading your copy of the game. Quote Ah, also, I can't seem to find any contact info for the official support :( In the "Amanita Design - General Chat (http://forum.amanita-design.net/index.php?board=7.0)" board there's a pinned topic called "Contacting Amanita Design" Title: Re: Error #1034 TypeError: Error #1034 Post by: tasuki on November 11, 2016, 06:49:51 pm Thanks for the quick response.
1. Doesn't the game do a checksum on the downloaded files? 2. Is there at least a checksum I can use manually? Cheers, Vit Title: Re: Error #1034 TypeError: Error #1034 Post by: Alex on November 11, 2016, 08:17:40 pm Sorry Vit, I don't know the answer to your questions. All I know is that on occasion folks having a problem with their game (apparently) solved their issues by re-downloading the game. ~ not many wrote back but the fact that they went silent after we recommend they do so suggests that they solved their problems that way… hopefully ::) Anyway, good luck and please write back to tell everyone how you eventually solve your problem so that others may benefit from your experience. ~Alex Title: Re: Error #1034 TypeError: Error #1034 Post by: SleepyUser on November 13, 2016, 11:31:14 pm Thanks for the quick response. 1. Still the best way of dealing with this would be a re-download, like already mentoined. |
