The Indie Games Festival entries have been announced and can be seen at http://www.igf.com/php-bin/entries2010.php

Some of them have playable demos and all have descriptions (of varying lengths - Limbo, the game I am looking forward to most, has one line).
There are 305 contestants so some of them must be good.

LIMBO (http://www.igf.com/php-bin/entry2010.php?id=202) really caught my eye, it looks interesting. About a Blob and Minor Battle also look really cool.

Limbo's appearance surprised me - its site was put up about it in 2006, and nothing else had been heard about it until now.

That Limbo game looked really nice!

But it soo reminded me of another game with VERY similar graphic/style called Feist.

I've been waiting for FEIST too.

It was nominated for "Exellence in Visual Art" last year, but was beaten by Machinarium Grin

Hmm, true.
Sure Limbo is kind of creepy. No music at all...

A video of Limbo in action is here: http://www.indiegames.com/blog/2010/03/preview_limbo_playdead.html

There's a lot of background noise but it does sound like there is music in the game.

Unsettling ambient music.
