Hello

I just received Machinarium.
My problem: My save games are always gone when I reload the game.

I use a Mac and keep my software always updated.
I don't use CClean or any other cleaning software (generally there is no need for such things on a mac).
I am blocking pop-ups, and cookies from third parties and advertisers.
<- I even tried switching that off, like allowing pop ups and all cookies, but it made no difference.

Worst thing (maybe) is: If I run the game and right click to change the flash settings, it won't work!
I mean this: http://forum.amanita-design.net/index.php?topic=4642.0.html
If I click, a box opens, saying: "Settings..." and "About Flash". But nothing happens if I click them!
So I can't enter that menu, and can't set "local storage" to unlimited, which I believe would solve the problem.
(Edit: I right clicked on a youtube video and the settings, and it worked there. I was able to set the storage to
whatever I liked and saved it. Why won't it work for the game?)

Also if save and search for the machinarium save game using spotlight, I can't find anything. So I think it doesn't save at all.
Possibly because local storage for the game is set to 0. But like I wrote above I CAN'T CHANGE THAT.
I even uninstalled and freshly installed flash on my Mac. In vain.

I read most of every post here: http://forum.amanita-design.net/index.php?board=22.0
But none of it help. For example, I would like to copy a save game into the right folder, but I don't have such a folder:

Why? It's crazy.

I'm so sad right now. I spent hours for nought. Also the hours I tried to fix the problem. Sad

So I think [Machinarium] doesn't save at all. Possibly because local storage for the game is set to 0.

I'm thinking that it must be because it is set to 0. The first thing I would suggest is to delete, then redownload, and then reinstall the game itself. Then try again to adjust the settings.
