Door doesn't open after giving security robot batteries [SOLVED]

At the part where you give the security guard robot the two batteries for the baby, is there anything else I'm suppose to do to get the door to open? I gave him the batteries, but the door never opened for me. I'm stuck watching him watch his happy little baby robot with no where else to go.

I checked the hint book and even googled it; everything that comes up tells me that the door should have opened.

[EDIT] nevermind... all I had to do was press the button next to the door *facepalm*
